Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK) is a frontline extension institute established by the Indian Council of Agriculture Research (ICAR), Ministry of Agriculture, Government of India for a district, for transfer of technology in the field of agriculture, horticulture, animal husbandry, aquaculture etc.
KVK, Narkatiyagnaj, West Champaran was established in year 2019. It is located at Narkatiyaganj under Narkatianj Block, 40 Km away from district headquarter Bettiah. It is well connected by road and railway. KVK located near the pandai nadi, Balthar road connects with National Highway-727 at Lauria. Narkatiyagnaj junction is the nearest railway station which is 2.5 Km away from the KVK.

The West Champaran district of Bihar has 3 Subdivision and 18 blocks which were previously under the jurisdiction of Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Madhopur. But for the smooth functioning and providing better technology service to the farming community of the district Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Narkatiyaganj was established in the year 2019.
Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Narkatiyaganj is located at West Champaran district of Bihar- 845455 and it is functioning within 2 (two) subdivisions and 10 blocks. Established with enthusiastic and dedicated Subject Matter Specialists in different disciplines Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Narkatiyaganj West Champaran is now actively engaged in dissemination of technologies to the farmers, farm women and rural youths and development of farm sector in West Champaran district
